In partnership with Community Corporation of Santa Monica, Belmar Apartments is an affordable family apartment development located on famed Ocean Avenue within the Ocean Avenue South community.  Belmar Apartments is 160 affordable apartments, including 10 live/work lofts for households earning 30-60% AMI, the largest single-income restricted affordable rental complex that the City of Santa Monica has helped finance. The residential common areas include a central garden court and children's playground. 

Public access and connectivity are key components with a public walk street through the community. There are public walkways and plazas providing residents with access to 3rd Street Promenade, the Santa Monica Pier, and the Expo Line. The site is bordered by the new $47 million, six-acre Tongva Park.
