Developed in partnership with Shield of Faith Christian Center and the City of Pomona Redevelopment Agency, Tivoli Plaza/Shield Village is a 90-unit intergenerational development for low-income seniors and families located on a formerly blighted mobile home park in Pomona. Tivoli Plaza consists of 63 senior apartments with a 2,500-square-foot senior center complete with computer room, lounge and social services. Shield Village consists of 27 family townhomes with a 1,800-square-foot community center with multipurpose room, kitchen and computer area. Seniors and large families have distinct amenities that can be utilized separately, but are centrally located to promote opportunities for intergenerational community interactions and support.
