Located in the Montavilla neighborhood of Portland, on a site originally purchased by Metro, Glisan Landing will be 137 units of affordable family and permanent supportive housing across two buildings. A public-private partnership with Related Northwest, Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization (IRCO), Metro and Catholic Charities of Oregon, Glisan Landing will provide affordable and supportive housing for low-income households with a range of incomes from 30% to 60% Area Median Income (AMI) with onsite amenities, resident services and employment opportunities.

Beacon at Glisan Landing will be a 4-story, 41-unit permanent supportive housing building for low-income households with an income of 30% AMI. All units have been designated as Permanent Support Housing (PSH) for individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Building amenities will include a management office, community lounge, telehealth room, and laundry facilities. All residents will utilize the shared outdoor amenities, including the central courtyard connecting the two buildings.  Catholic Charities of Oregon will provide robust wrap around services, including crisis prevention, self-sufficiency and resources and referrals for employment and health care services.

Along Glisan Street, Stone Soup, a local culinary training nonprofit, will operate an onsite café with a culinary and barista employment training program. This new space provides for Stone Soup’s expansion to Portland’s eastside.

Beacon at Glisan Landing is the second co-ownership partnership between Related Northwest and Catholic Charities of Oregon. Completion is expected in 2024.
