Qualifying prior Journey's End Mobile Home Park seniors displaced by the wildfires were offered first priority for the affordable units. Onsite amenities will meet the needs of the senior residents and include a multipurpose activity space, health and wellness spaces, media room, community gardens, laundry rooms and a reception area with alternative transportation mode kiosks or monitors.Laurel at Perennial Park was financed with conventional debt, FCAA Disaster 9% Low Income Housing Tax Credits, CDBG-DR funds and Project Based Section 8 Vouchers awarded by the Santa Rosa Housing Authority. Additional soft debt was awarded by Sonoma County's County Fund for Housing (CFH). Grants from Kaiser Permanente and Tipping Point Foundation provided critical relocation assistance to rehouse the residents displaced by the wildfire as well as master planning efforts.
