As Project Manager for Related California, Mr. Chowdhury is responsible for the management of all aspects of the development process from inception through construction completion and project closeout for many of Related’s Northern California affordable developments, including 248 affordable family units located in South Lake Tahoe.
Prior to joining Related, Mr. Chowdhury was Senior Project Manager at BRIDGE Housing Corporation where he was responsible for the management and development of more than 300 affordable units, including 187 permanent supportive housing units, and the rehab of more than 150 units, totaling more than $334 million in assets. As Project Manager for Trestle Development, he was involved in all aspects of development, including entitlements, feasibility, closing, construction and lease-up of more than 300 affordable units in Oakland and San Diego, valued in excess of $74 million. Mr. Chowdhury brings 10 years of affordable development experience to Related.
Mr. Chowdhury holds a Master of Urban Planning from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
