As Associate Vice President of Design for Related California, Ms. Mak is responsible for design direction, managing the design team, including the selection and coordination of consultants, and construction assistance for Related’s senior living and market rate developments in San Francisco and Santa Clara.
Prior to joining Related, Ms. Mak was Senior Associate and Project Manager for Handel Architects where she focused on developer driven multi-family and hospitality projects in the Bay Area, and was the project architect for a number of high-density developments in San Francisco, including the Four Seasons at 706 Mission. While at Choi+Shine Architects, she designed and managed retail and residential developments in the greater Boston area.
Ms. Mak holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University. She is a licensed architect in California and a LEED accredited professional.
