As Senior Development Associate for Related California, Ms. Choe is responsible for supporting and assisting in all aspects of project management including the design, financing, and construction of more than 300 affordable housing units in Southern California.
Prior to joining Related, Ms. Choe worked for the District of Columbia’s Office of Planning, where she analyzed underwriting and entitlements for District-owned properties and public-private partnerships. At Related Companies in Chicago, she was involved with the entitlement and design of a $5 billion mixed-use, master plan development in Chicago, and at Skidmore, Ownigs & Merrill in Chicago, she was responsible for advancing design for an historic renovation project, a mixed-use, master plan in Shanghai, as well as a five-star hotel project.
Ms. Choe holds a Master in Real Estate Finance and Development from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University. At Harvard, she was a Merit Scholar and awarded the Brenda Levin Fellowship and Annual Project Research & Development Award in Real Estate. She worked with the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority in operations and budgeting, and was a leader in the Harvard Kennedy School Community Development Project.
