As Project Manager for Related California, Mr. Yan is responsible for supporting and assisting in all aspects of project management, including the acquisition, entitlement, design, financing, and construction of Related’s market rate, mixed-income and mixed-use developments. His current focus is on the development of a mixed-use, luxury hotel / office tower in San Francisco alongside day-to-day management of The Grand, a hotel, residential, and retail development in Downtown Los Angeles.
Prior to joining Related California, Mr. Yan was Development Associate for Related Urban in New York where he helped manage hospitality and retail developments at Hudson Yards and Deutsche Bank Center. Mr. Yan was also a member of the pre-development team for Related Santa Clara, a 240-acre, mixed-use city center in Silicon Valley.
Mr. Yan holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration with a Minor in Real Estate from Cornell University. He is a member of NAIOP’s San Francisco Bay Area Chapter.
