As Project Manager for Related California, Mr. Tateishi is responsible for the management of all aspects of the development process, from design and financial feasibility, through construction completion and stabilization, for more than 623 affordable housing units located throughout Southern California.
Prior to joining Related, he was an Associate Project Manager for LINC Housing where he managed new construction and resyndication projects at various stages of the development process. As a Policy Manager for California Housing Partnership, he managed a statewide network of nonprofit developers and public agencies to reposition affordable housing assets and led regulatory advocacy on building codes and funding programs. As an Assistant Project Manager for LTSC Community Development Corporation, he managed new construction affordable housing projects in Los Angeles and community economic development initiatives in the Little Tokyo Historic District.
Mr. Tateishi holds a Master in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Bachelor of Science in City and Regional Planning from the California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
