As Senior Vice President of Finance and Accounting, Mr. Faydock is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of accounting and finance for all affordable, market rate, and mixed-income developments in California, a portfolio of more than 10,000 units, totaling more than $8 billion in assets. His key responsibilities include raising tax credit equity and debt, treasury management, investor and lender relations, budgeting and forecasting, financial modeling, tax planning, and internal and external financial reporting.
Mr. Faydock has more than 30 years of accounting and finance expertise along with extensive experience in real estate, construction and finance industries. Prior to joining Related in 2003, he served as Chief Accounting Officer for Sasco Electric, the largest privately-held electrical subcontractor in the Western United States, and Chief Financial Officer for Meruelo Enterprises, Inc., a real estate development and heavy utility construction conglomerate. Prior to his private accounting and financial experience, Mr. Faydock was a Senior Audit Manager for BDO Seidman, LLP.
Mr. Faydock holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a dual major in Finance and Accounting, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
